CCGS Open Recital—Saturday, May 17, 2008, 7:00 pm—Forest Hill Church, 3031 Monticello Boulevard, Cleveland Heights

CCGS Open Recitals are free and open to players of all ages and levels. If you wish to perform, contact Tom Poore at augustineregal@yahoo.com. Be sure to include your name, the name of the piece and composer, and an approximate timing for your performance.

You’re listening to Fernando Sor’s Valse, Op. 44 bis, No. 5—it’s just one of the pieces you’ll hear performed on the May 17 open recital. To see the entire program as it stands so far, click here.

By the way, congratulations to our own CCGS veteran performer Krystin O’Mara, who will be soon enrolling at the Peabody Institute in Baltimore. (Krystin applied to four prestigious guitar programs, and was accepted by all four.) While it’s sad to see her go, it’s good to see her reap the reward of all her hard work over the years.
